CIS Students Receive Outstanding Co-op/Intern Awards

Congratulations to Computer Information Systems students who were nominated by their employers for Outstanding Co-op/Intern of the year. 

An awards ceremony for all nominees was held on Tuesday, April 9th at 3:30 p.m. in the EKU Charles D. Whitlock Student Services Building Auditorium to recognize their achievement.

On-Campus Student Employee of the Year Nominee:

  • Noah Cundari (JR, Computer Information Systems from Dry Ridge, Ky.) - University Housing; nominated by Veronica Bjorkman

Outstanding Intern Nominees:

  • Alexander Chase-McCuddy (SR, Computer Information Systems from Nicholasville, Ky.) - TrinSoft, LLC; nominated by John Stucky

  • Matthew Vallandingham (SR, Computer Information Systems from Wilmore, Ky.) - Alltech; nominated by Michael Rhode and Robert Simpson

Eastern Kentucky University's Co-op Program is the first and only program accredited in the state of Kentucky by the Accreditation Council for Cooperative Education.
